Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Architect position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in the United States working 8-5 EST Time Zone.
This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
Translate business strategy into executable capability maps, value stream models, and initiative roadmaps that align to strategic objectives
Develop and maintain enterprise business architecture artifacts including capability models, value streams, and target-state operating models
Partner with executive leadership, product teams, and enterprise architecture to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology execution
Identify capability gaps and prioritize investment opportunities based on business value and strategic impact
Lead portfolio planning and initiative prioritization efforts to optimize resource allocation and transformation outcomes
Facilitate cross-functional alignment sessions with business and technology stakeholders to drive consensus on architectural decisions
Assess current business processes, organizational structures, and systems for efficiency opportunities and strategic alignment
Establish and enforce business architecture standards, frameworks, and governance practices across the enterprise
Collaborate with Enterprise, Solution, and Data Architects to ensure business intent is reflected in solution designs
Ensure end-to-end traceability from strategic objectives through capabilities, initiatives, and measurable business outcomes
What You'll Need to Have:
10+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise strategy, management consulting, or business transformation roles
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business architecture artifacts including capability maps, value streams, and operating models at scale
Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder facilitation skills with proven ability to influence without direct authority
Strong knowledge of Business Architecture Guild BIZBOK concepts and practices, with BIAN framework experience preferred
Experience working in large, complex enterprises within financial services industry, including understanding of regulatory requirements and risk considerations
Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and their application to business transformation
Strategic thinking capabilities with expertise in capability modeling, value stream mapping, and systems thinking
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
