Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Architect - PBM for a contract position with a Leading Pharmacy Benefit Manager. This is a 6+ month, 100% remote opportunity.

Pay Range: $76 - $79 per hour based on experience and qualifications


Position Overview:
The Enterprise Business Architect provides strategic business architecture leadership for the client's Integrated Specialty business, ensuring alignment between business strategy, market segment strategy, and enterprise capabilities. This role will enable transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value, supporting the development and implementation of business capability models, business processes, and transformation roadmaps within highly regulated healthcare domains such as Medicaid and Medicare.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with segment leadership to define strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives supporting annual investment planning
  • Identify and evaluate both external and internal business needs to determine required business changes
  • Engage leadership to identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve the architecture blueprint and business solution context (current, transition, and future state)
  • Apply structured business architecture techniques (e.g., capability modeling, value stream mapping)
  • Lead the analysis of the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Determine impacted areas, assumptions, and implications of business capability changes
  • Provide effort estimates, assist in proposal/business case development, and support project planning
  • Partner with capability owners, block leaders, and compliance teams to ensure architectural decisions support enterprise goals
  • Ensure business change initiatives are aligned with federal and state regulations and industry standards


Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 years of experience in business architecture (not IT architecture)
  • 5 years of experience in business analysis
  • Deep understanding of government healthcare programs and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in PBM, preferably working with integrating Pharmacy and Medical Claims data
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with SAFe Agile, MITA, ITIL, and SDLC methodologies


Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as BACOE, ArchiMate, and TOGAF
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic direction
  • Proficiency in tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and enterprise modeling platforms
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with business process modeling, use cases, and gap analysis
  • Proficiency in healthcare government programs, such as Medicaid and Medicare
  • Experience with technical leadership and managing complex projects or teams
  • Ability to work with senior leadership and external stakeholders
