Overview:
The Business Center Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Business Center to include daily oversight of all accounting processes, membership, campaign and program, and childcare transactions.

Schedule
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and provide training for new and existing staff and allocate responsibilities and office space
- Handle and resolve member and participant complaints
- Monitor and assign/reassign duties amongst staff as needed. Manage schedules and deadlines
- Responsible for timecard corrections on all assigned Business Center staff
- Pro-actively manage staff reviews, certifications and trainings
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new items with attention to budgetary constraints
- Weekly audits of branch membership accounts, childcare accounts and EOD processes
- Meet with the childcare/program directors as assigned by the Business Center Director to ensure the programs are full supported and we are meeting the member/participants needs
- Ensure proper department communication so members, staff and participants are provided accurate information
- Ensure effective management of the teams and feedback accounts and work with IT and marketing to provide accurate forms and communication documents on helpdesk
- Proven experience as administration supervisor

- This position requires the ability to sit, stand and input data on a computer for extended periods of time

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field, OR four (4) years of equivalent related experience in leading and supervising a team required AND,
- Three (3) years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor such as accounting and one (1) year of experience leading and developing staff required
Knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce
In-depth understanding of office management and procedures
Proven experience as administration supervisor
Project management
Effective communicator; able to communicate effectively, clearly and positively, verbally in writing
Superb organization skills

Detail oriented with excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Licensing, state law and our government funders require that staff within YMCA of San Diego County be fingerprinted, prior to reporting to work, and include subsequent arrest notifications
- CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
