Job Summary


At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.


The Business Customer Advisor is a large industrial and commercial customer facing position directly accountable for relationship growth, customer perception, and the provision of utility services to a portfolio of approximately 80 to 90 large customers.


Job Responsibilities


+ Available to respond to emergent customer requests 24x7. Portfolio includes customers with regional/national footprints and business travel may be required on occasion for industry conferences and/or customer meetings.

+ Leverages large customer relationships to deliver customer advocacy in support of PSE&G strategic initiatives and regulatory filings.

+ Serves as a single point of contact for assigned customers and serves as an interface between assigned customers and, meter to cash operating groups, electric and gas operating groups, asset management personnel, legal, regulatory and RES teams.

+ Provides direct support to electric, gas and customer operating groups during storm events by coordinating communication with large and critical customers.

+ Maintains internal relationships with operating departments to effectively advocate for customer as a trusted energy advisor.

+ Maintains and applies working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meets management's expectations for effective internal business controls.

+ Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to resolve complex large customer issues.


Job Specific Qualifications


+ B.A./B.S. Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience or in lieu of a degree, a HSD/GED and greater than five years utility operating experience.

+ Knowledge of I&C account management experience with knowledge of lighting process, meter to cash processes, gas and electric tariffs, and electric and gas field operations.

+ Have a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

+ Ability to work independently.

+ Operating experience with SAP-CRM, Salesforce, OMS and electric and gas work management systems.
