Job Duties:
This position serves as the analytical backbone of the sales organization, transforming data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
This role is responsible for analyzing sales data, optimizing processes, and providing strategic insights that enable the sales team to perform at its best.
The Sales Operations Analyst works closely with sales leadership, representatives, and cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and IT, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
This position focuses on maintaining the integrity of sales data, creating meaningful dashboards and reports, and supporting the sales team with insights that enhance effectiveness.
Additionally, this team member will support special projects such as product information data cleanup, data integration with partners, and the creation of metrics and reporting for the e-commerce business.
Partner with RA functional teams to clean and collect data for use by distribution partners and management.
Generate comprehensive reports on sales metrics, including revenue growth, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, quota attainment, and key performance indicators, to provide visibility into sales performance across the organization, especially for e-commerce.
Manage and optimize CRM systems (Salesforce or similar platforms) to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and efficient distribution of sales intelligence, serving as the primary administrator for system configuration and user support.
Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to provide accurate revenue projections that inform resource allocation decisions and executive planning.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and similar platforms to enable self-service analytics for sales leadership.
Evaluate current sales processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then recommend and implement improvements that increase productivity, shorten sales cycles, and enhance customer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, finance, product, and customer success to ensure alignment of sales strategies with broader business objectives and seamless data flow across systems.
Assist in the creation, implementation, and management of sales tools, technologies, and automation workflows that enhance sales effectiveness and reduce manual administrative tasks.
Support sales enablement by creating and maintaining documentation on sales processes, policies, best practices, and training materials for new and existing team members.
Manage sales territory assignments, quota setting, and sales compensation calculations to ensure accurate and timely administration of incentive programs and equitable territory coverage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Marketing, or related field required.
Minimum 1 year of related experience in sales operations, business analysis, data analytics, or related analytical roles within a sales environment.
Experience with CRM platform administration and data management, particularly Salesforce, is strongly preferred.
Prior experience in B2B sales environments, technology companies, or fast-growth organizations preferred.
Strong understanding of sales operations fundamentals, CRM management, sales process optimization, and revenue operations best practices.
Proven experience analyzing sales data, building dashboards and reports, and translating complex datasets into actionable business insights that drive decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including executives and operational teams.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, Power BI, data modeling, and complex formulas.
Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, including administration, customization, data management, and reporting capabilities.
Travel required up to 10% for team collaboration, sales meetings, and professional development opportunities.
