Overview Japanese SOGO SHOSHA conglomerate trade and investment company in Seattle seeks Japanese Bilingual Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Associate who will support and contribute to business development initiatives and strategic partnerships for corporate US operation. The role involves supporting projects from opportunity identification through execution, conducting research and analysis, preparing materials, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to contribute to tangible business outcomes.Location Seattle, WAEmployment Details Exempt position, hybrid 3 days in office$97K-124K + bonus + fabulous health benefits packageKey Accountabilities Business Development (70%) Project Contribution & Execution : Conduct quantitative economic analysis in support of selected business development projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.Opportunity Origination & Coordination : Identify and help shape new business development initiatives through research and analysis in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.Application of analysis : Apply econometric theory and data science skills to build models and evaluate business development opportunities.Prepare presentation materials, proposals, and other documents to support project execution and management decision-making.Partner with business groups to connect our affiliates with relevant external partners, initiatives, and activities.Contribute to corporate-level business development efforts by supporting and coordinating initiatives across multiple business groups.Partnership Building and Development (30%) Ecosystem & External Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with external partners that are critical to compnay's business development and intelligence activities and leverage these relationships to generate opportunities and support project execution.Organizational Contribution & Intelligence : Share networks, insights, and intelligence generated through business development activities with relevant internal stakeholders to support broader organizational initiatives.Required Competencies Relevant experience in research and business developmentIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPointAbility to use AI tools for daily work such as research, document preparation, and taking meeting minutesBusiness level English and Japanese proficiencyStrong writing skillsAt least 1 to 4 years of experience in supporting operations, initiatives, and administrative tasksDemonstrated experience in conducting industry and market analysis using various external sourcesEducation/Training: Bachelor's degree requiredTo apply, please email your resume to xjiang@pasona.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
