Business Development Associate & Executive Liaison

You'll serve as a critical resource across multiple functions: stewarding our CRM system with precision, supporting marketing-driven acquisition strategies, enabling our sales team, and providing sophisticated administrative support to senior leadership. This role offers the rare opportunity to develop deeper business development expertise while maintaining the operational excellence that executive teams depend on.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Marketing Integration

  • Partner closely with the Marketing team to execute outreach campaigns aligned with current BD priorities and acquisition strategies
  • Provide accurate data, context, and feedback to ensure campaign effectiveness and market relevance

CRM Ownership & Data Integrity

  • Act as the primary steward of the firm's CRM system, maintaining complete and accurate lead data, interaction histories, and pipeline stages for Prospera's suite of services
  • Ensure opportunities are properly qualified and prepare executive-ready reporting and insights

Events & Relationship Development Support

  • Collaborate with the Events Planner to support high-tier firm-sponsored events
  • Assist with attendee coordination, logistics preparation, and on-site execution to ensure a professional, seamless experience for clients and all participants

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

  • Track and monitor trailing commission acquisition activity
  • Vet incoming opportunities against established "Buy Box" criteria to ensure strategic alignment

Sales & Platform Enablement

  • Organize, update, and distribute pitch decks, investment summaries, case studies, and other sales collateral to ensure consistent and current platform messaging

Executive Operations & Administrative Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics
  • Maintain flexibility to address urgent or time-sensitive business needs, including after-hours support when required

Market & Industry Research

  • Conduct targeted research on industry trends, competitors, and potential partners within the financial settlement and trust sectors
  • Prepare concise briefings for senior leadership ahead of strategic meetings and engagements

Qualifications & Requirements

Professional Experience

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in executive support, business development, or a closely related role
  • Prior experience within financial services, alternative investments, or private equity strongly preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field

Performance & Execution

  • Demonstrated ability to perform at an elevated level in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills, judgment, and the ability to prioritize competing demands under tight deadlines

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with CRM systems is mandatory, including managing complex data sets and producing actionable reports
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business productivity tools

Communication & Professional Presence

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent the firm with polish, discretion, and credibility
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams

Location & Availability

  • Austin-based, with strong familiarity with the local business ecosystem and the ability to work in-person as required
  • Proven reliability supporting senior leadership, with flexibility to respond to business needs beyond standard business hours

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of structured settlements, trust administration, or financial services platforms
  • Event management or coordination experience
  • Familiarity with business development processes and sales enablement
  • Project management experience
