We are currently looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, building relationships, and expanding the reach of ABA therapy services in the community.
Position Overview: As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you'll run your territory like it's your own, growing the referral relationships that expand our ABA client base. You'll be on the road 3+ days per week across LA County building a strong network of healthcare professionals and community organizations, driving referral volume, and expanding our market presence. The results you deliver will directly fuel Intercare Therapy's growth while helping more families access our life-changing services. Our ideal candidate is someone who is eager to grow a book of business. ABA referrals are competitive and requires someone who is persistent and can build strong relationships out of cold outreach..
Location: Hybrid – in the field 3–4 days per week, traveling by car within assigned region

Salary: $72,000
Reports to: Manager of Community Outreach
Key Responsibilities
Field Outreach & Relationship Building
- Develop relationships with community partners from cold outreach to referring partner through in-person visits, lunch and learn presentations, calls, and emails.
- Spend 3+ days per week driving throughout your designated region, visiting offices of referring and potentially referring offices.
- Persuasively pitch Intercare Therapy’s services and respond effectively to objections.
- Represent Intercare Therapy at local networking events, conferences, and community outreach programs to strengthen our leads pipeline..
Referral Development & Client Engagement
- Owning the growth of your region by generating and nurturing leads in the pipeline
- Follow up and engage with leads to ensure they successfully make it through our intake process and become clients
- Ensure positive, ongoing relationships with existing clients and families, providing support to encourage continued engagement and referrals.
Marketing & Promotions:
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute outreach initiatives, including local advertising campaigns, social media promotions, and printed materials.
- Develop and distribute educational materials (brochures, flyers, presentations) to effectively communicate the benefits of ABA therapy and Intercare Therapy’s services.
- Organize and support community events, workshops, and seminars aimed at educating families and community members about autism and ABA therapy.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Keep detailed records of outreach activities and referral sources using the CRM or other designated tracking systems.
- Provide weekly updates on the status of your pipeline and developing partner relationships
- Analyze and evaluate the success of outreach initiatives and adjust strategies to meet business goals.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with the clinical team, administrative staff, and leadership to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to align outreach efforts with the broader company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in community outreach, sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in healthcare or behavioral health settings.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage and educate diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM tools.
- A passion for helping individuals with autism and developmental disabilities and making a positive impact in the community.
- Ability to travel locally as needed to attend outreach events and meetings.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
