About the Role

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will support the growth of HungryPanda’s business in your assigned area. You will work with merchant partners and internal teams to identify local opportunities, coordinate initiatives, and improve order growth, user growth, and customer experience. This part-time role calls for strong communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Support local business growth by monitoring merchant orders, user growth, and customer experience across your assigned area.

Assess local market conditions and customer needs, propose practical initiatives, and coordinate their implementation.

Work with existing merchant partners to identify opportunities to improve their performance, including promotions, customer experience, and local visibility.

Consider customer needs across neighborhoods, product categories, and ordering times when recommending improvements to merchant operations.

Coordinate with Marketing, Delivery, and other internal teams to follow up on merchant needs and support healthy growth in the local market.

Share market feedback, customer insights, and progress updates with the team to help improve future initiatives.

Qualifications

Fluent Mandarin is required for day-to-day communication with merchants and internal teams.

Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships with merchants and colleagues.

Attention to detail and a reliable approach to following up on tasks and commitments.

Comfort working with business data and an ability to recognize changes in customer needs and local market activity.

A customer-focused mindset and the ability to turn observations into practical suggestions for improvement.

Experience in merchant operations, local marketing, business development support, or a related field is preferred.

An interest in food, Chinese cuisine, and local communities is highly valued.
