This role combines strategic business development, client leadership, and market influence—driving revenue growth, expanding key partnerships across the commercial real estate and construction ecosystem, and positioning iSPACE as a leader in integrated workplace solutions (Furniture, Architectural Walls, and Technology).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Market Development & Industry LeadershipBuild and maintain relationships with Enterprise account ownersDevelopers and ownership groupsGeneral contractors and project managersArchitecture and design firmsDevelop and execute a strategic business development plan to penetrate target accounts and industriesBuild a network of influence across CRE, A&D, and construction partnersGenerate and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities aligned with iSPACE's core capabilitiesManage Client Accounts and Drive GrowthResponsible for overall client relationships and account growth/performance in the assigned marketDevelop annual account plans, forecasts, and reporting for clientsMaintain deep understanding of clients' business models, plans, expansion/improvement initiativesCultivate relationships at management levels across client organizationsIdentify and pursue opportunities for new divisions/facilities within existing clients to drive account growthExpand contracts by increasing account deliverables (design services, project management, planning, research, support, training, assessments, etc.)Implement and oversee annual account reviews with key clientsSolution Development and Project OversightCollaborate with Design team to create solutions that position the company to win businessGenerate proposals for existing customers and new business opportunitiesAct as liaison with clients, partners (architects, contractors, etc.) during initiation, presentation, and problem-solving phasesManage Project Delivery and Financial PerformanceCommunicate and negotiate financial terms/conditions with clients based on company standardsOversee projects, providing sufficient information to internal teams (Design, Project Management, Field Services)Review and approve proposals/invoices for accuracy and profit marginsRecognize and address potential variances or issuesNegotiate resource allocation and project prioritizationMonitor competitive landscape, clients' business climate, and industry trendsBusiness Development Specific ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Showroom/Client ToursVendor/Supplier Relationships assigned to MarketSuccess in This Role IncludesGrowth of revenue and margin within the Des Moines marketExpansion of key strategic accounts across multiple locations or business unitsDevelopment of a consistent, diversified pipeline (CRE, corporate, healthcare, higher education, etc.)Increased early-stage project involvement with A&D and GC partnersContribution to overall market visibility and brand awarenessServe as a Steward of iSpace Core Values and BrandWe are EXPERTS : We provide well thought out solutions to support our client's business needs.We are RESOURCEFUL : We will find ways to get it done and make it look easy.We VALUE all PARTNERSHIPS : Our partners are not viewed as transactions, but friends.
