The Best Bees Company is currently looking for a Business Development Representative located in Boston to join our growing sales team and help further our mission of promoting pollinator health!Best Bees is a unique company with a mission and a culture to match. Business developers play a direct role in supporting our research and help to grow pollinator populations with each closed sale. Our business developers help to roll out new offerings, cultivate corporate accounts, and grow the business within target markets. Position SummaryThe Residential Sales & Business Development Representative plays a critical role in driving both immediate revenue and future company growth. This inside sales role owns the residential inbound sales process from initial inquiry through close while also supporting the corporate sales team by identifying, researching, and engaging prospective commercial clients.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in developing a career in professional sales. As the representative gains experience and demonstrates success, there is a clear path to grow into larger commercial sales opportunities and corporate account management.Location and Hours Full TimeBoston, MA in-person presence required Hybrid schedule of 1-2 days WFH offered based on performance Training in person for 8 weeks 5 days / week Primary ResponsibilitiesResidential Sales (Approximately 70%)Respond promptly to inbound residential inquiriesConduct client consultations by phone and videoEducate homeowners on Best Bees' programs and servicesPrepare and present proposalsManage follow-up activities through closeMaintain accurate CRM recordsMeet or exceed monthly residential sales goalsCorporate Business Development (Approximately 20%)Research prospective corporate clients and target marketsBuild and maintain outbound prospect listsExecute outbound email and phone campaignsSchedule qualified discovery meetings for the corporate sales teamMaintain prospect activity within the CRMSupport marketing campaigns with outbound follow-upSales Operations (Approximately 10%)Maintain CRM accuracyAssist with reporting and pipeline managementSupport sales process improvementsCollaborate with the Client Services and Account Management teams to ensure a seamless customer experienceSuccess MeasuresResidential revenue attainmentResidential close rateResidential speed to lead responseQualified corporate meetings bookedOutbound activity completedCRM accuracy and data qualityDesired Qualifications1–2 years of sales, customer success, hospitality, or business development experienceExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesComfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Interest in sustainability, environmental science, or conservation is a plusGrowth OpportunityThis role is designed as an entry point into Best Bees' sales organization.
