Position Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Primarily NYC area with office work in a remote environment
Compensation: $100,000 base salary plus performance-based commission; target on-track earnings of $175,000+

About the Company
Our client is an energy efficiency company that engineers, designs and installs orifice plates for 2-pipe steam systems in large, multifamily and commercial buildings as well as full steam system retrofits, energy-efficiency upgrades, maximizing energy incentives, and full-service plumbing in Greater New York City. They make buildings work better for everyone!
Key Responsibilities - New Business Development (New Client Acquisitions and Hunter Mentality)

Qualifications (Must-Haves) - 5+ year of successful experience in business development, new-client acquisition, sales, or a compatible revenue - generating role.
- Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying role, including a record of meeting or exceeding new-business goals.
- Experience owning a full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
- Proven ability to build pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication, accountability, and CRM discipline.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) - Bachelor’s degree; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Experience selling building energy efficiency services or contracting services.
- Experience with selling to multi-family buildings and large building management companies
- Experience with local laws requiring more efficient building operations, including energy incentives
Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $100,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: $175,000
