Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive - Outside is responsible for independently sourcing, developing, and closing new ITAD partnerships with mid-market and enterprise organizations. This role owns the full outbound sales cycle, from prospecting through agreement execution, and focuses on building long-term, high-value partnerships that align with Human-I-T's profitability standards and mission-driven impact.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Independently source and develop new outbound opportunities for ITAD and related services.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and close.
Structure and close long-term partnerships designed for repeat value and sustained engagement.
Price opportunities in alignment with established profitability standards and document exceptions when required.
Build and manage a qualified pipeline with clearly defined stages, ownership, and close timelines.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of opportunities, scope, and pricing in the CRM.
Partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition following initial and follow-up donations.
Participate in sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions focused on outcomes.
Job Specifications:
This position requires a self-directed, results-oriented professional with strong relationship-building and consultative selling capabilities. The Business Development Executive - Outside must be comfortable operating in a performance-driven environment andvmanaging complex opportunities.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Experience selling ITAD services, logistics, or complex operational solutions preferred.
