We are seeking a business development professional to drive growth of Siemens Automation solutions within the Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing ecosystem across the Americas. This role will focus on machine builders, OEMs, robotics providers, integrators, and manufacturing technology partners, helping expand adoption of Siemens automation technologies and strengthen Siemens' position in the next generation of manufacturing equipment. This aligns with the ecosystem, machine builder, and automation focus identified in the Americas Additive Manufacturing strategy. We are looking for a Business Development Manager. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the continental, US. You'll make an impact by: Develop and execute business development strategy focused on Additive Manufacturing OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturing technology providers. Drive adoption of Siemens Automation solutions including SINUMERIK, Motion Control, Drives, PLCs, Industrial Edge, AI, and Robotics technologies. Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, integrators, research organizations, and industry partners. Support development of advanced manufacturing solutions including additive, hybrid manufacturing, robotics, and factory automation applications. Identify and develop new automation-focused opportunities across strategic OEM accounts.Work closely with Siemens account teams, business units, and technical resources to develop customer opportunities. Represent Siemens at industry events including RAPID, Formnext, AMUG, America Makes, IMTS, and other manufacturing conferences. Monitor market trends, competitive technologies, and emerging manufacturing equipment providers. Support ecosystem development initiatives that strengthen Siemens' position within the Additive Manufacturing industry. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, or related field. 8+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine tools, robotics, manufacturing systems, or related industries. Experience working with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, or manufacturing technology providers. Strong understanding of industrial automation and machine control technologies. Proven track record of business development and customer engagement. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additive manufacturing technologies and applications.
