The change is now!Required Qualifications:Strong communicator, both written and oral, able to present technical value propositions to engineers, R&D teams and C-suite buyers Minimum 5 – 8 years' experience in technical sales or business development within advanced materials, specialty chemicals or engineered materials; demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Technical background in advanced materials required (e.g., degree in materials science, chemistry, polymer or chemical engineering) combined with strong commercial and financial acumenComputer proficiency, including CRM and MS Office; comfortable interpreting technical data sheets and specifications Willing and able to travel 50% of the time, domestically and internationally, to customers, trade shows and industry events; valid passport and driver's licence Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skillsAsset: hands-on experience with advanced materials such as carbon black, carbon fibre, nanomaterials or reinforcing fillers Critical Success Factors:High level of time management and organizational skillsAchieve or exceed assigned revenue, margin and new-account targets for the graphene product portfolioBuild and manage a healthy sales pipeline, accurately forecasting opportunities from qualification through to close.Ensures customer expectations are met or exceeded; acts as the primary liaison between the customer and internal technical teams, travelling to customer sites wherever necessaryTranslate customer application requirements into technical specifications and coordinate sampling, trials and qualification with R&D and operationsRemains abreast of new developments in the industry, and interchanges knowledge with other members of the organizationFosters and champions team spirit amongst the sales and technical teams and encourages input and participation. Participates in and contributes enthusiastically towards the creation and growth of a spirit of openness, trust and respect throughout the entire organization Responsibilities:Own and grow an assigned territory/account portfolio for graphene and graphene-enhanced advanced material solutionsIdentify, qualify and close new business opportunities across target markets such as automotive, composites, coatings, batteries and plastics.Lead the full sales cycle, including the following;Development of account plans, sales forecasts and territory budgetsPreparation and presentation of quotes, technical presentations and commercial proposals to customers Negotiation of pricing, supply agreements and contract terms Hand-off and onboarding of new accounts to customer service and technical supportProtect the commercial and intellectual property interests of the companyAbide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the NanoXplore Employee HandbookRepresent NanoXplore at trade shows, technical conferences and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis and voice-of-customer feedback to guide product development and go-to-market strategy Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, contacts and opportunities in the CRMCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, operations, marketing and technical service to deliver a seamless customer experience.Reporting relationships:Individual-contributor role with no direct reports; works closely with R&D, technical service, marketing and operationsReports to: Vice President of SalesWorking ConditionsCombination of home-office / hybrid work and frequent travel to customer sites (50%)Multiple demands in a challenging and fast paced – team orientated environment
