Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to support and expand structural engineering practice areas within a growing Southern California office. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving strategic growth.You will partner closely with project managers, market leaders, and senior leadership to build client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support business development initiatives across targeted markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain leads, market intelligence, and client contacts to support business growthCultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target marketsCollaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with market initiativesSupport proposal development, RFQs/RFPs, and interview preparationConduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunitiesTrack and manage project leads and client engagement activitiesParticipate in industry events, organizations, and client-focused initiativesContribute to firm-wide business development planning and marketing strategiesMaintain CRM data and assist with marketing collateral, website updates, and branding materialsCoach and support project managers in client engagement and presentation readinessQualificationsMinimum Requirements4+ years of business development experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industryStrong communication and relationship-building skillsProven ability to research and generate leadsProficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe InDesignPreferred QualificationsExperience with CRM systemsStrong writing and editing capabilitiesExperience managing RFQ/RFP processesFamiliarity with marketing, graphics, or design productionBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field#J-18808-Ljbffr
