ITAC Solutions is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our presence across the Central Texas market, specifically the Temple, Belton, and Killeen area. Unlike a traditional vertical-focused sales role, this position gives you the full ITAC toolkit. You'll represent all five of our practice areas: Accounting & Finance, Technology, Engineering, Corporate Services, and Government, and the full range of our service offerings, including temporary and contract staffing, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and retained executive search.

This is a role for someone energized by the chase, motivated by momentum, and confident walking into conversations cold, not someone who needs warm leads or a prebuilt portfolio. You'll spend your time cultivating new client relationships, reactivating dormant ones, and positioning ITAC as a trusted recruiting partner across industries and disciplines. And once you land the order? You get to hand it off, freeing you to stay fully focused on what you do best: growing the business.

This role is ideal for a competitive, self-driven B2B seller who believes opportunity is something you create, not something you wait for. And critically, this is a market where relationships open doors. If you're already embedded in the Temple, Belton, and Killeen business community, that's not a nice-to-have. It's a real advantage.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Opening new client relationships across accounting and finance, technology, engineering, corporate services, and government disciplines
  • Matching clients to the right service model, whether that's temporary staffing, contract-to-hire, direct placement, or a retained search engagement
  • Reactivating dormant accounts and re-establishing trust with companies ITAC has served in the past
  • Identifying opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic follow-up
  • Asking smart qualification questions to ensure clients' needs align with what ITAC can successfully deliver
  • Coaching clients through hiring challenges, market realities, and competitive conditions
  • Partnering with recruiters to ensure seamless handoff and accurate expectation-setting
  • Building and deepening visibility in the Central Texas market through community involvement, industry events, and professional organizations
This role is about momentum, curiosity, long-game relationship building, and owning the early stage of the sales cycle with skill and confidence.

What You'll Need to Be Considered
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B outside sales experience in a single role (service-based experience strongly preferred)
  • Established roots in the Central Texas market (you know the players, the industries, and the community, and people in the area know you)
  • Comfort and confidence initiating contact with people you don't know, including cold calls, cold emails, and in-person introductions
  • A track record of generating your own opportunities rather than relying on inbound leads
  • The ability to have credible conversations across multiple industries and hiring disciplines. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you need to be curious and coachable
  • Active engagement in professional organizations, associations, or networking groups in the Temple, Belton, or Killeen area
  • Strong instinct for qualifying clients and setting realistic expectations
  • For senior-level consideration: a demonstrable network or book of business in the Central Texas market that you're ready to activate from day one
