Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Engineering Services to drive growth and manage strategic client relationships within the food, beverage, and consumer products manufacturing sectors. This leadership role combines business development, account management, and capital project oversight to support clients' engineering, equipment, and facility initiatives.
 
Location: Cincinnati, OH (On-Site)
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $150,000 - $175,000  Compensation is negotiable and commensurate with experience, technical expertise, industry background, and overall qualifications.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client accounts and develop long-term business relationships
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and strategic account plans
  • Oversee P&L performance for capital execution projects
  • Lead contract negotiations and stakeholder management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions
  • Develop and deliver client presentations
  • Travel as needed, including short-notice visits
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience in consumer products, food, beverage, or related industries
  • 7+ years of business development, sales, account management, or client leadership experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Proven experience managing client relationships, cross-functional stakeholders, and contracts
Preferred:
  • Food or beverage manufacturing experience
  • CRM proficiency and social media business development skills
  • Revenue forecasting experience
  • PMP certification
  • Capital project portfolio management expertise
