Business Development Manager, Contact Center, -CO or CAJob Category : SalesRequisition Number : BUSDE009874Employment Type : Full-TimeLocationPleasantonPleasanton, CA4900 Hopyard RoadSuite 282Pleasanton, CA 94588, USAResponsibilitiesService new and existing accounts by finding and cultivating client opportunities for net new and expansion offerings to grow our contact center business.Contact Center Software and Licensing Agreements.Contact Center Services.Contact Center Managed Services.Establish account presence by planning and organizing daily work schedule to proactively call on existing or potential clients independently or with Presidio Account Managers.Establish rapport and trust with key client decision makers.Educate our Account Teams on Presidio's leading capabilities within the contact center market.Execute sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate services.Increase sales and market share and develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, conducting in person meetings, and partnering with vendors or manufacturers.Maintain a targeted understanding of customers' business showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.Ability to create a strategic plan with the customer's executive staff to add value to the customer business and develop a sales plan to meet the customer's and company strategic need.Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals as defined by management.Account ManagementManage individual sales objectives to include sales orders and billing activities to support accounting cycles.Manage on‑going customer account maintenance, including updating account information in company systems and resolving customer satisfaction issues.Prepare customer quotes and work with inside support team to ensure quotes are ordered requests are processed accurately.Work with engineering team to accurately design solutions and scope projects.Maintain relationships with all levels of customer contacts, but focus on maintaining executive level (Director and above) relationships.Strategic Planning & PresentationAdhere to sales process including but not limited to pipeline development and accurate forecasting via internal tools.Attend weekly Sales Commit calls and achieve weekly commitments.Submit presales service requests and attend presales conference calls.Perform extensive proposal writing and prepare sales information for customers.Attend trade shows, marketing events, and perform continuous marketing efforts to new and existing customers.Participate in weekly sales calls with the sales team and management to communicate weekly sales and profit objectives.Participate in ongoing sales training to ensure satisfactory performance, improve sales skills, stay abreast on emerging technologies, and maintain partner sales certifications.Promote company culture and ethics and establish name recognition.Work in a team environment to enhance all aspects of the sales strategy.Mentor and lead new hires in the market.Participate in company efforts to improve the quality of the sales organization.Understand, solution, and sell clients' voice, telecom, managed services, and cloud needs.Experience with telecom carriers, Cisco, Avaya, Amazon, Microsoft with telecom, managed services, and cloud‑related solutions.Experience establishing relationships with national carriers and developing strategic solutions for existing and new customers.Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles.Knowledge of administration and management principles, specifically in planning and resource allocation.Strong customer service skills and service orientation focus.Required Skills and Professional ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.Overall 3-5+ years of demonstrated sales success.Minimum of 3+ years of experience positioning and selling contact center solutions.Must be a US Citizen.Preferred Skills and Professional ExperienceEffective active learning and listening skills.Critical thinking, judgment, and decision‑making skills.Strong monitoring and time management skills.Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills.Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.Ability to solve problems using deductive and inductive reasoning.Excellent oral and written communication and expression skills.Ability to sensitize and forecast problem areas.Ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization.Presidio is committed to hiring the most qualified candidates through a diversity of skills and thought.
