The Job:
At Stivers, were looking for a hunter who actually enjoys the win. We need a Business Development Manager in Kansas City to increase our market share.
This is a high-activity, sales role. Youre here to find the business, open the doors, and win the contract.
The Partnership:
While you own the sales cycle, you aren't on an island. Youll work in lockstep with our Recruiting Team, who supports the talent fulfillment while you focus on what you do best: hunting new opportunities. You win the business; they help you fill it. Its a high-speed partnership that allows you to stay focused on the "next" win.
What youll actually be doing:
Winning the Market: Youll spend the majority of your time prospecting, networking, and getting in front of decision-makers. You are the face of Stivers in KC.
Closing the Deal: Youll sit down with local business leaders, identify their hiring pain points, and pitch staffing solutions that actually solve their problems.
Managing the Pipeline: Youll manage your own sales funnel from the first "hello" to the signed contract. Youre responsible for keeping the engine running and the deals closing.

We want someone smart, competitive, and fast on their feet. Whether youre a recent grad or an early-career professional, we care more about your "go-getter" DNA than a decade of experience.
You like to win: Whether you were a college athlete, a campus leader, or a top-performer in a previous role, you have a track record of hitting goals.
Youre a "People Person" with an edge: You can build rapport with anyone, but youre also not afraid to ask for the business or negotiate a contract.
Youre a Self-Starter: You treat your territory like your own business. You don't need a manager breathing down your neck; youre motivated by the leader board and your own paycheck.
The Basics: Youll need a valid drivers license and a car to get to client meetings. A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications is highly preferred, but your drive and "hunter" mindset are what will get you the job.
Whats in it for you?
OTE: Year 1 $75k-$95k (Base + Uncapped Commission)
