Business Development Manager - Transmission

Location options: Remote and/or hybrid with offices located near Lyndon, Kansas, or Georgetown, KY

The company: Aviation operator specializing in contract aerial services for the oil & gas industry as well as the electric utility industry. 

Their clients are oil and gas and electric utility companies.

The Role: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding market share of the utility industry relative to construction and maintenance of transmission lines.

Responsibilities
  • Independent management of marketing efforts
  • Develop new relationships within the Energy Sector
  • Maintain client relations with existing customer base
  • Tradeshow attendance, website management, social media development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales/business development role within the Electric Utility industry (ideally 4-10)
  • Must be familiar with energy infrastructure companies building out projects and know the players (contractors/utilities) in the game
  • Knowledge in the transmission powerline space ideal, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
