Business Development Manager - Brand-New Micro Hospital

We are hiring a motivated Business Development Manager to help launch and grow a brand-new micro hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new and different in healthcare-building community awareness, developing referral relationships, and helping introduce a convenient, high-quality hospital model to the local market.

The ideal candidate is a confident relationship builder with experience in healthcare business development, physician relations, medical sales, marketing, community outreach, or referral development. Responsibilities

• Lead business development and market outreach efforts for a new micro hospital in Jacksonville.
• Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, medical practices, healthcare organizations, employers, and community partners.
• Create and execute strategies to increase awareness, referrals, patient volume, and utilization of hospital services.
• Represent the hospital at networking events, employer meetings, community events, and professional organization activities.
• Identify growth opportunities and provide market feedback, referral trends, and business development updates to leadership.
• Partner with clinical leadership, operations, and marketing teams to support launch initiatives and promote hospital services.
• Maintain organized records of outreach activity, contacts, opportunities, and follow-up efforts.
• Support additional launch, growth, and community engagement initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in business development, physician relations, healthcare marketing, medical sales, referral development, or community outreach preferred.
• Healthcare, hospital, emergency care, outpatient, or medical services experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong networking, presentation, relationship-building, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to travel locally throughout the Jacksonville area for meetings, events, and outreach activities.
