Compensation: 110k OTE (Flexible as this is our first US based role)About the RoleWe are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition and build our presence within the CPG market.This is a high-impact, new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and winning new CPG brands. You will be responsible for building your own pipeline, closing new accounts, and helping expand our footprint in a rapidly growing market.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, target, and acquire new CPG customers across North America , prioritizing opportunities in Great Lakes Region of USA .Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate new sales opportunities.Build and manage a pipeline of qualified CPG prospects .Schedule and attend in-person meetings and facility visits with prospects across Great Lakes Region of USA .Present our packaging capabilities and develop custom packaging solutions based on customer needs.Prepare proposals and negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to close new business.Work closely with internal teams (estimating, production, and customer service) to ensure accurate quoting and smooth onboarding of new clients .Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM systems .Represent us at industry trade shows, events, and networking events; and conduct pre-show prospect outreach and post-show follow-ups to convert leads and opportunities into new business.Achieve or exceed monthly and annual new revenue targets .Qualifications & Experience3+ years of business development or new business sales experience in a B2B environment.Strong preference for candidates with:Experience selling to CPG brands , orDirect experience working within the CPG industry .Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business .Experience selling manufacturing, packaging, printing, or supply chain services is an asset.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills .Highly self-motivated with a strong hunter mentality and ability to work independently.RequirementsBased in the Great Lakes Region of USA.Valid driver's license and ability to travel and cover territory within great lakes region .Access to a reliable vehicle for local client visits and prospect meetings.Ability to travel locally within Great Lakes Region of USA , with occasional travel across North America as needed.Key Traits for SuccessEntrepreneurial and results-driven mindset.Comfortable with high-volume prospecting and cold outreach .Strong consultative selling and problem-solving abilities.Ability to build trust with procurement, operations, and marketing teams within CPG companies .What You ReceiveCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission with clear upside tied directly to new business wins60k - 80k base + 30k on target commissionsHigh-impact role with real ownership.
