Find out how a career as a Business Development Manager at Michels can change yours.Responsibilities As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities include developing new business opportunities through relationship building and enhancing Michels\' brand awareness, acting as an ambassador to promote the company as the contractor of choice. This position is specifically focused on the Large Diameter Water Conveyance market. You will engage with clients and partners to establish a project pipeline and win strategies within your assigned industry, educating stakeholders on collaborative delivery methods. Additionally, you will engage clients at industry-relevant tradeshows, working with management and marketing to drive growth through effective messaging and investment. You will provide direction to Proposal Managers and Marketing for developing collateral content, ensure the CRM tool, Salesforce, is accurate and updated, and offer input during bidding to establish pursuit strategies and prepare proposals. During the annual business planning process, you will prepare industry insights and actively participate in business development meetings, coordinating cross-selling opportunities and implementing the One Michels approach.
