Business Development Manager, Latin America – Multi-ClientPurpose & ScopeThe Business Development Manager, Latin America – Multi-Client is responsible for identifying and securing Multi-Client (MC) revenue and library investment opportunities across the assigned region. This role focuses on developing new products, partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives that align with company objectives.The position collaborates closely with senior management, Contract and Imaging teams to identify business and technical solution opportunities for both new and existing clients. The role leverages regional market opportunities through business development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities.The Business Development Manager maintains P&L responsibility throughout the planning, acquisition, and delivery phases, working closely with the bidding team, Acquisition Project Managers, and Sales organization.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Strategic GrowthDesign, propose, and develop new multi-client opportunities and projects within the assigned region, including preparation of investment cases.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.Work strategically with key client teams to identify and develop new MC opportunities by fully understanding client organizations and available options.Identify cross-product line and bundling opportunities to maximize commercial value.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client, partner, and competitor business drivers to assess emerging opportunities.Client & Stakeholder ManagementPrepare client proposals and presentations for review and discussion.Coordinate with the global Account Management team to ensure consistency and alignment in client engagement.Build and maintain strong government and regulatory relationships within relevant markets.Seek business intelligence from active clients and potential market entrants, sharing insights with the Business Manager and broader team.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop new opportunities and effectively manage risk.Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of the library portfolio, including exclusivity extensions, renewals, and upgrades.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop investment case materials and supporting collateral for new MC opportunities.Maintain responsibility for execution of new project permits.Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets, forecasts, and weekly updates, including investment and revenue projections.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Operations, Legal, Finance, Marine Contract, Imaging (IMG), and external partners in developing and executing new opportunities.Work closely with acquisition project teams to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.Support strategic planning and decision-making across the business.CommunicationAbility to communicate ideas and messages clearly, concisely, and effectively to a wide range of audiences.Skilled at articulating business plans and objectives to ensure alignment and achievement of goals.Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.Technical KnowledgeDeep understanding of the assigned region, including:Geopolitical environmentRegional geologyRegulatory frameworksKey industry personnelBusiness AcumenStrong commercial aptitude with the ability to balance operational efficiency, strategic positioning, and profitability.Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical and actionable business plans.Skilled at identifying priorities and driving performance outcomes.Strategic ThinkingAbility to establish objectives and priorities aligned with the organization's long-term interests in a global environment.Proactively identifies opportunities while effectively managing associated risks.Builds commitment and engagement among team members and stakeholders.Effectively influences senior management, customers, partners, and market participants.Demonstrates the ability to communicate and advocate the organization's value proposition.Key Performance MetricsQuarterly and Annual Financial Performance on Prefunding (EP/LP) and InvestmentsReturn on Project Investments (EP/LP/LS)Exclusivity extensionsRenewalsMaintenance of an Active and Actionable Permit PortfolioOperational Efficiency:Project execution timelinesDelivery performanceRevenue Growth from New Multi-Client OpportunitiesStrategic Partnership and Market Development SuccessFunction: Business Development / Multi-Client Sales & InvestmentsReporting Line: Business Manager / Commercial Leadership (as applicable)#J-18808-Ljbffr
