Business Development Manager - Air & Ocean Freight

Miami, FL

Salary: $120k + Package

An established global logistics and supply chain provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across its international freight forwarding operations in Miami.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with experience in air freight, ocean freight, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international logistics. You'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored transportation solutions to customers across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sector
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, international trade developments, and customer needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' B2B sales experience within international freight forwarding
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Knowledge of international shipping, air & ocean freight, customs processes, or trade compliance is highly desirable
