This role is responsible for expanding and maintaining referral partnerships, managing the client acquisition pipeline, and converting inquiries into scheduled intakes aligned with organizational capacity.The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth through direct outreach, relationship management, and data-driven pipeline oversight, working closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure timely access to services.Key ResponsibilitiesReferral & Partnership DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with external referral sources, including healthcare providers, clinics, early intervention programs, and community organizations.Proactively identify and pursue new referral and partnership opportunities to support organizational growth.Conduct consistent outreach through calls, emails, meetings, and in-person visits.Represent the organization at relevant networking events and professional gatherings.Maintain long-term referral relationships through regular follow-up and engagement.Client Acquisition & Intake ConversionManage inbound client inquiries and ensure timely, consistent follow-up.Guide prospective clients through the inquiry, intake, and start process.Coordinate with clinical and operations leadership to align new intakes with staffing capacity and service availability.Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records, ensuring clear visibility into the pipeline.Monitor bottlenecks and identify opportunities to improve start of service and conversion rates.Business Development StrategyMaintain a structured pipeline of prospective clients and referral partners.Collaborate with leadership to support growth strategies aligned with company goals and capacity planning.Identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to referral flow and client demand.Provide data-driven guidance related to marketing, including outreach prioritization and content strategy based on referral flow trends and client demand.Reporting & AccountabilityTrack and report on key performance metrics, including:Leads generatedReferral outreach activityNet Client AdmissionsConversion ratesStart of Service LatencyParticipate in regular performance reviews and goal-setting discussions.Use data to inform outreach priorities and continuous process improvement.QualificationsExperience in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or another service-based client acquisition or business development role preferred.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.Comfortable with direct outreach, follow-up, and external engagement.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.Data-driven mindset with experience tracking metrics and managing pipelines.Self-motivated, accountable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
