Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Manager to join one of our innovative technology clients operating at the intersection of aerospace, defense, and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will work directly with the CEO to build and advance a pipeline of enterprise opportunities across aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and defense programs.You will play a critical role in shaping the company's commercial strategy - owning Dynamics 365 as the system of record, supporting executive-level outreach, and helping translate deep technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions for procurement, engineering, and executive stakeholders. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at a growing company where every deal matters. You will be directly involved in conversations that influence the company's trajectory, from early-stage discussions through deal close.The aerospace industry is at an inflection point in AI adoption, with certification representing one of the most complex and costly components of any avionics program. Our client operates squarely at this intersection, offering a differentiated Cognitive AI approach to automating DO-178C certification artefacts - without direct competitors in the market. With active engagement across major aerospace primes, Series A funding secured, and a clear path to initial revenue, this is a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal moment. The individual in this role will help bring those early opportunities across the finish line.Responsibilities Own and manage the Dynamics 365 CRM - pipeline hygiene, contact management, activity logging, and forecastingSupport the CEO in outreach and relationship development with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and defense prime contractorsResearch target accounts, map stakeholder networks, and prepare executive briefing materials and call prepAssist in the development and delivery of pitch decks, capability briefs, and tailored proposalsCoordinate follow-up from industry events, trade shows, and conferences (AERO, Farnborough, MRO, etc.)Track industry news, competitive intelligence, and certification regulatory developments relevant to AeroCert positioningSupport NDA, MOU, and commercial agreement processes in coordination with legal counselDevelop a personal network of mid-level and senior contacts across key target accounts over timeSkills and Requirements 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management or equivalent in the aerospace industryHands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - you know the platform and can run it without supportWorking knowledge of the aerospace OEM and Tier 1 supply chain landscape - you know who the buyers are and how they buyStrong written and verbal communication skills - comfortable engaging C‑Suite and VP‑Level stakeholdersSelf‑starter mindsetExperience in defense programs or sales into defense prime contractorsFamiliarity with avionics or embedded software certification (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A) — even at a conceptual levelExisting relationships across major OEMs (Airbus, Boeing, Textron, Bombardier, Honeywell, Collins, etc.) or Tier 1 suppliersExperience selling software, SaaS, or technical tools into engineering or program management buyersBackground in or exposure to AI, machine learning, or advanced software tooling for aerospaceWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
