Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic business development initiatives across key markets, including environmental engineering, geotechnical services, construction support and infrastructure consulting, to achieve branch growth and revenue objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, market research, referrals and strategic client engagement.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business, expand service offerings, and cultivate referral opportunities.
  • Execute sales goals set by the Branch Manager and Regional leadership and use these as guidelines for daily sales activities while collaborating with sales, marketing, operations and technical teams to support business development initiatives.
  • Generate profitable revenue by identifying qualified leads, cross-selling and add-on opportunities while delivering solutions that meet company margin objectives.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline using the company's CRM, track pursuit activities, maintain accurate revenue forecasts, and utilize sales reporting and planning tools to prioritize business development efforts.
  • Ensure lead times and communication quality are maintained to control and plan workflows effectively.
  • Coordinate the preparation, submission and follow-up of proposals, including responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and vendor application packages.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams to ensure responsiveness, manage lead times, and support effective project planning and workflow coordination.
  • Assist and attend selected marketing and networking events both during the day and occasionally in the evenings and/or on weekends.
