Business Development Manager Kaigene is seeking a highly capable Business Development Manager to support strategic growth by identifying, evaluating, and advancing partnership opportunities across its antibody-based therapeutic programs and platform technologies.
Role Overview
Serve as a key business development contributor connecting Kaigene’s scientific innovation with commercial strategy.
Support strategic collaborations, licensing opportunities, financing discussions, and other corporate development initiatives.
Help advance partnership opportunities that align with Kaigene’s pipeline priorities and long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and assess potential biotech, pharmaceutical, investor, and strategic partner opportunities.
Coordinate scientific and business due diligence in collaboration with internal R&D, management, and external stakeholders.
Support partner outreach, confidential discussions, data room preparation, term sheet review, and deal execution processes.
Prepare clear, professional materials for partner meetings, investor discussions, management reviews, and board-level presentations.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical business development, consulting, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to understand complex scientific concepts and translate them into clear business and strategic value.
Strong communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.
Fluency in Korean and professional working proficiency in English are required to support internal collaboration and external engagement.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: To be discussed during the interview process and determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and internal considerations.
Lunch and PTO: Lunch is provided, and paid time off is available in accordance with Company policy.
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: The Company provides 100% employer-paid employee coverage under the standard HMO plan. Employees who elect PPO coverage will be responsible for the premium difference above the HMO plan cost.
401(k) Retirement Plan: Eligible employees may participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan after the probation period.
Annual Discretionary Bonus: Eligible employees may be considered for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to Company performance, individual performance, and management approval.
