You will be the primary point of contact for customers and channel partners in the region, responsible for growing existing accounts and developing new business across the full JTech line card.Daily ResponsibilitiesProspecting and qualifying new business with data centers, enterprise IT organizations, facilities teams, electrical and low-voltage contractors, systems integrators, AV integrators, and consultants/specifiersConducting on-site customer visits, product demonstrations, and lunch-and-learnsDelivering tailored sales presentations and infrastructure solution proposalsManaging the full sales cycle from initial contact through closingCollaborating with inside sales support and manufacturer resources to develop and propose solutionsPreparing quotes and proposals; maintaining accurate CRM recordsNurturing long-term client relationships and providing post-sale coordinationRepresenting JTech and our manufacturer partners at industry events, site walkthroughs, and trade showsMaintaining current knowledge of the JTech line card through manufacturer training and certificationsQualificationsRequired3+ years of outside sales experience in structured cabling, datacom, AV, DAS, or related low-voltage infrastructure marketsDemonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close new business — not just manage inherited accountsExisting relationships with contractors, integrators, IT/facilities teams, or consultants in the San Diego/Orange County market strongly preferredFamiliarity with the rep agency sales model and channel dynamics (distributors, end-users, specifiers, contractors)Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferredExperience selling Legrand, Superior Essex, Middle Atlantic, C2G, Nextivity/Cel-Fi, or comparable manufacturer linesKnowledge of physical infrastructure: cable management, containment, cabinets, pre-terminated fiber, copper cabling components, ectCompensation & DetailsBase salary + commission structure commensurate with experience + healthcare, vision, and dental insurance.
