The Opportunity with McKinstry

McKinstry is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Service team in Seattle. the Business Development Manager develops, coaches and manages a Service sales team to develop our brand with clients and grow McKinstry operate and sustain services within a specific geography. Additional responsibilities may include:

Leadership

Promote the overall success of the team and the enterprise.

Increase gross revenue, margin, and operating income as defined by yearly goals.

Participate in development and execution of multi-year strategies.

Oversee bookings that drive revenue, margin, and operating income.

Manage and monitor key business metrics.

Maintain sales forecast models.

Report and participate in mitigation of potential business risks.

Recruit and hire staff.

Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations for assigned team.

Provide supervision, mentorship, and motivation to assigned staff as required.

Market and Business Development

Manage the consulting processes including lead generation, promotion of services, strategic selling, consultative selling and sales management.

Manage proposal and collateral material.

Recommend vertical market tactics. Includes cooperative selling efforts with all Aftercare sales personnel.

Develop territory plans.

Negotiate contracts with clients.

Manage large and strategic accounts.

Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders.

Participate in professional associations and organizations.

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

Demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Senior Account Executive required.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Construction

Management or equivalent field required or combination of education and experience equivalent required.

Six (6) years of experience delivering sales and business development services required.

Experience in delivering services in a mechanical/HVAC environment is preferred.

Experience managing sales/business development staff required.

The pay range for this position is $105,030 - $185,500 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
