Duties and Responsibilities:- Securing orders, locating new customers, planning sales calls, and making presentations demonstrating the advantages of our equipment
- Building strong business relationships through respect for the customers and a sincere desire to service customer needs
- Establishing and maintaining personal relations with customers
- Solving customers' problems and aiding with product application
- Partner with Sales leadership to create compelling customer value propositions and integrated selling strategies
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure operational execution and scalability of training services
- Regular and accurate reporting and documenting (using the company systems e.g. CRM) all prospecting and sales activity
- Maintaining a high degree of sales professionalism through independent study and market research
- Price negotiation and rate exception reviews
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to training delivery, customer experience, and profitability
- Regular attendance and active participation in Safety meetings
Qualifications/Requirements: - Must possess sales and customer relation skills
- Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting high-level plans and translating them into practical, site-specific engineered solutions for customers.
- Previous sales experience is required, 7+ years equipment rental experience is preferred
- Basic computer skills including average typing skills
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Must be able to communicate in English. Ability to speak another language is a plus
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to meet performance, productivity and efficiency standards
Working Conditions: WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily performed in the field with frequent visits to branch locations, yards, and customer job sites. Outdoor exposure to varying weather conditions may occur. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe footwear must be worn as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role requires extended periods of sitting and standing, as well as regular movement throughout facilities and job sites. Traveling up to 50% is required. The ability to lift and/or move items up to 60 pounds is necessary. Frequent use of computers and other communication tools to analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
HAZARDS: There should be an awareness of inherent risk and exposure of the job, working amongst large industrial equipment, on construction or other job sites. There may be exposure to chemicals such as gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, and cleaning solvents. Awareness of and adherence to all safety policies and procedures is required.
