The BDM will be responsible for communicating and executing assigned categories' strategic initiatives, sales promotions, and training.ResponsibilitiesPresents, communicates, and sells storeowners and their installer customers on NAPA category strategic initiatives, promotions, value propositions, and training materials.Partners closely with Regional Sales Manager, TSM/TMOD teams on ISO Store Readiness/Inventory levels and assessments.Attain assigned daily average sales presentations to commercial customers.Provides field insights to help drive sales and strategic category initiatives.Achieves territory sales quotas and provides training to store employees on the proper implementation and utilization of NAPA Under Hood programs.Works as an advisor and business partner with store owners to build long-term relationships.Manages, organizes, and leads category-specific sales blitzes in assigned territory.Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial targets.Provides excellent customer service and communication to all accounts in territory.Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all aspects of assigned product lines.Provides classroom and/or in-field education and training to NAPA and ISO sales teams and customers on assigned product lines.Executes weekly, monthly, quarterly, and HQ sales plans to achieve business growth opportunities aligned with the company's objectives.Schedules and partners with suppliers' sales teams to create awareness and maximize product-specific sales to the installer network.Manages and approves DEBI rack registrations.Conducts periodic account reviews to update management on key progress indicators.Attends, organizes, and manages key promotional events and trade shows.Shares marketing intelligence about product opportunities to grow sales.Performs other duties as assigned.Key Performance MetricsCombined sales of Under Hood product category.DEBI Rack sales and registrations.NAPA Auto Parts combined sales and EBITDA.Qualifications3-5 years of selling and account management experience with a successful track record in developing new business and maintaining existing accounts.Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving criteria.Ability to travel within the territory, including long-distance and overnight travel.Proficiency with corporate productivity tools (email, MS Office, CRM, internet navigation).Key CompetenciesSales acumen, communication, customer focus, resilience, results orientation, product knowledge, and technology proficiency.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent sales/marketing experience.LeadershipValues: serve, perform, influence, respect, innovate, team.Effective communication, results-driven, strategic thinking, and team development skills.Physical Demands / Working EnvironmentAbility to operate a vehicle safely, stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds, and attend events after hours or on weekends.Travel requirement of up to 50%.We offer a competitive salary of $64,625.00, along with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and additional perks.
