Business Development Representative (BDR) Join to apply for the Business Development Representative (BDR) role at PLS Logistics Services .The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers to generate new business opportunities for the sales team. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship-building to create a strong pipeline of potential clients. A successful BDR is a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.Responsibilities Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to potential clients.Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify sales opportunities through discovery conversations.Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings for National Accounts Managers to advance the sales process.CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach efforts and lead interactions in CRM software.Collaboration: Work closely with the National Accounts team to ensure seamless transition and preparation for sales meetings.Market Awareness: Research industry trends, supply chain challenges, and procurement cycles to tailor outreach messaging effectively.KPI Driven: Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs, including call volume, meetings scheduled, and engagement rates.Qualifications 2 - 5 years of business development or outside sales experience (preferably in SaaS, logistics, transportation, or B2B services).Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-level and senior decision-makers.Ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment and handle rejection professionally.A self-starter mentality with a strong drive to succeed and advance in a career in logistics and supply chain sales.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred but not required.Why Join PLS Logistics?
