Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on K-12 to support our sales and outreach initiatives. As a key point of contact between school leaders and our platform, you will engage prospective customers through either inbound or outbound channels, introduce our solutions to schools and districts, identify decision-makers, and set up qualified meetings for our Partnership Managers. Depending on business needs and team assignments, BDRs may focus on inbound lead management or outbound prospecting efforts. This role is high visibility, collaborates frequently with cross-functional teams, and is client-facing. It is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to break into EdTech sales, with the training and support to build a strong foundation in education-focused business development.In This Role You Will:

Outreach and Engagement

Manage assigned inbound leads or conduct outbound outreach to K-12 administrators, educators, and district leaders via email, phone, and social mediaEducate prospects on how our tools support teachers and improve student learning

Lead Qualification and Meeting Setup

Qualify inbound leads or outbound prospects based on school or district needs, decision-making structure, and timelineSchedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives and manage follow-upsMeet productivity and pipeline generation goals aligned to assigned responsibilities

CRM and Collaboration

Track activity, outreach, and results in our CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce)Collaborate with marketing on campaign feedback and outreach strategy

Industry Knowledge

Stay up to date on K-12 trends and challenges, including funding cycles and academic goals

This role is designed to be based out of our Charlotte, NC headquarters.The hiring range for this position is between $23.27 - $25.00 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a Variable Target.
