About the role
You'll be a Business Development Rep, finding companies that need to ship freight and helping them get it moved. You'll learn how to prospect, how to have sales conversations, how to build relationships, and how to manage a book of business that's yours.
This is an entry-level role with a real career path. Reps at Fide get promoted on merit, not tenure. If you're good, you'll move up. If you're great, you'll move up fast.
What the day-to-day actually looks like
You'll be in our Grand Rapids office, at a desk, with the team. Most of your day is on the phone; making calls, having conversations, and building your pipeline. Some of it is research, planning, and learning. Some of it is training and shadowing.
