Business Development SpecialistLocation: Oahu, Hawaii (On-site required, limited flexibility)Employment Type: 6 months Contract (Contract to Hire) based in HonoluluKey ResponsibilitiesOpportunity & pipeline coordination: maintain and update pipeline across tools such as NetSuite, Smartsheet or similar systems; track stage, owner, estimated value, key dates; provide visibility to leadership and cross-functional teams.Cross-functional coordination: schedule and manage working sessions, validation checkpoints, proposal and pursuit timelines; coordinate across Business Development Leads, PMO/Delivery teams, technical and finance/resource management teams.Proposal & SOW support: draft and edit RFP responses, SOWs and supporting documentation; maintain version control and ensure alignment across contributors; coordinate submission timelines and compliance.Client interaction support: participate in selected client meetings, take notes and follow-up actions, clarify scope and requirements, coordinate next steps, assist with gathering client requirements.Handoff preparation: prepare handoff materials (scope summaries, assumptions, constraints, risks, dependencies); ensure required information captured prior to handoff; support coordination of formal handoff sessions with delivery teams.Process & operational support: help standardize and improve Business Development workflows; identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements; support adoption of tools and best practices across the team.Reporting & insights: generate reports on pipeline status, opportunity progression, key performance metrics; support data accuracy and consistency across systems.Required QualificationsBased in Oahu, Hawaii.2–5 years experience in operations, project coordination, program support or consulting.Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.Excellent written communication skills for documentation and proposals.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting Business Development or Sales Operations, proposal/RFP processes, SOW drafting or editing, or project management / PMO environments.Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, NetSuite or similar CRM/ERP platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.Pay & BenefitsHourly rate: $35.00 – $45.00.Medical, dental & vision.Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital coverage.401(k) retirement plan – pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions.Life insurance (voluntary life & AD&D for employee and dependents).Short and long-term disability.Health Spending Account (HSA).Transportation benefits.Employee Assistance Program.Time Off/Leave (PTO, vacation, sick leave).Application DeadlinePosition anticipated to close on June 30, 2026.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
