About the job Business Development Representative Title: Business Development RepresentativeSalary: $40-50K DOE + commission (15%-20%uncapped after $5K recoverable seat cost)Location: Knoxville, TNJob Type: Full-time, on-site (M-F 8-5)Overview: This role demands a highly motivated individual that is organized and detailed oriented to build/port a cradle-to-grave book of business in the freight brokerage industry.ResponsibilitiesThis position is cradle to grave sales (sales, operations, and customer service)This position requires sales calls daily.Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships.Operational duties include dispatching drivers, rate quoting, negotiating, and customer service.Ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment.Must be able to make wise and profitable business decisions.You must care about your own success!ExperienceBachelors degree preferred but not required.Trucking industry terminology a plus.Ability to multi-task and stay focused.Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.This position offers a competitive base salary(weekly) plus commission paid monthly!#J-18808-Ljbffr
