This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with potential referral sources and partners, and supporting overall market expansion efforts within the behavioral health space.While this is a remote position, candidates must reside in Middle or East Tennessee, with a strong preference for those located in East Tennessee, to support regional relationship‑building and market presence.Duties / ResponsibilitiesQualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunitiesContact potential clients through cold calls and emailsPresent our company to potential clientsIdentify client needs and suggest appropriate products/servicesCustomize product solutions to increase customer satisfactionBuild long‑term trusting relationships with clientsProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account ExecutivesReport to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales resultsStay up‑to‑date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plansRequirementsProven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar roleHands‑on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Track record of achieving sales quotasExperience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)Understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentationsEducation and ExperienceBA degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant fieldKnowledge of social and cultural influences that impact mental healthMaintain all licenses and certifications as required of the positionTreat others with respect, inspire trust in your work, and uphold organization mission, values, and visionProficient in the English language, both in writing and speaking and able to communicate clearly to staff, clients, families, and other healthcare professionalsPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
