Summary The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for finding and screening potential clients who could benefit from Prisma's print, direct mail, large format signage, branded merch, marketing logistics and fulfillment services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, the BDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The individual must have comprehensive knowledge of and sell all offered services of Prisma, including printing, mail, large format, promotional products, Prisma technologies, and other capabilities. Prisma has more than 40 years of experience and excels in supporting brands in the healthcare, restaurant, financial services, insurance, franchise, publishing and hospitality spaces.Performance Measurements Self‑motivated with a proactive work style, strong work ethic, initiative and follow‑through.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Outstanding organizational skills.Perform all assigned duties in a timely manner.Demonstrate effective problem‑solving skills.Cooperation and willingness to help others accomplish their objectives.Maintain a good attendance record.Function in a team setting.Key Responsibilities Contact potential clients through outbound cold calls, email, marketing kits, and in‑person networking.Make initial client contact and build trust and relationships.Foster customer interest in learning more about Prisma's products or services.Identify customer needs and communicate how Prisma can provide solutions.Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.Act as a liaison between Marketing and Sales teams, including content creation and event marketing.Schedule appointments and effectively transition prospective account ownership.Participate in initial discovery call and demo process.Research and identify prospective clients that meet the ideal customer profile.Attend in‑person networking events and conferences.Accurately report internal administration: HubSpot activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, weekly reports to management and proposal planning.Meet and exceed sales KPI metrics for emails, calls, and qualified meetings.Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in B2B sales and/or account management.Extensive understanding of Prisma's offerings and value proposition.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong research methodology and personalization throughout prospecting.Creative mindset in all aspects of the prospecting lifecycle.Ability to work in a team setting and lead when necessary.Proficient in Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.Driver's license required.Occasional travel to client sites/events/conferences (up to 15%).Comprehensive understanding of business and marketing.Reports to the Director of Business Development.Career Path BDRs complete a comprehensive three‑month training program. Upon successful completion, they assume full responsibilities and duties.
