The Role:
\n
As a BDR, you own the front door of revenue: finding the right prospects across HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and booking qualified meetings directly onto Account Executives' calendars. Our growth depends on a steady stream of the right people getting into the right conversations, and you're the one making that happen every day on the phone.
\n
You'll run our proven cold-open playbook, qualify hard before you book, and hand off clean, well-documented meetings that set the AE up to win. The ramp is fast: you'll be booking real meetings in your first few weeks. And this isn't a dead-end seat. BDRs who perform have a real, defined path to Account Executive.
\n
\n
You Will:
\n
Find, qualify, and book
\n
- \n
- Work a pre-built, enriched calling queue (list-building and enrichment are handled upstream, so you spend your time dialing, not sourcing)
- \n
- Run real discovery on the first call instead of a scripted pitch, and qualify prospects against a clear, defined bar before booking anything
- \n
- Book qualified meetings directly onto Account Executive calendars, with clean handoff notes so the AE walks in already oriented
- \n
- Log every call outcome accurately: your dispositions feed the pipeline directly and become a live signal into the product roadmap
- \n
\n
\n
Learn the trade and specialize
\n
- \n
- Ramp on a shared foundation covering every segment we sell into, then go deep on one (mechanical, electrical, or distribution)
- \n
- Build real fluency in how commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing shops actually operate, no prior trade background required
- \n
- Get coached weekly on your actual calls: openers, objection handling, qualification discipline
- \n
\n
\n
Move the number
\n
- \n
- Own a monthly qualified-meeting quota that ramps over your first few months
- \n
- Work inside one live dialer as your system of record; no side spreadsheets, no manual pipeline upkeep
- \n
- Turn a "not now" into a real re-engagement opportunity instead of a dead lead
- \n
\n
\n
What We're Looking For:
\n
Required
\n
- \n
- Real cold-calling or outbound experience, in any industry; comfortable with high call volume and frequent rejection
- \n
- Resilient: doesn't fold at the first brush-off, stays genuinely curious about what's actually going on with a prospect
- \n
- Coachable: takes direct, specific feedback on call technique and applies it immediately
- \n
- Comfortable in early-stage environments: scrappy, creative, and fast
- \n
- Exceptional verbal communication; builds rapport and credibility fast with a skeptical, operator-led buyer
- \n
\n
\n
Strong plus (shortens your ramp)
\n
- \n
- Prior BDR/SDR experience at a B2B SaaS or workflow-software company
- \n
- Experience selling or working in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or an adjacent trades/construction segment
- \n
- Familiarity with a modern dialer (Nooks, Hubspot, or similar)
- \n
- Worked in construction and then moved into sales or construction-tech
- \n
\n
\n
Compensation and Benefits:
\n
- \n
- Salary: competitive base + per-meeting bonus, plus a ramp-period bonus in your first month.
- \n
- Equity: meaningful grant, aligned with your background
- \n
- Benefits: medical, dental, vision
- \n
- Perks: free lunches and dinners
- \n
