Our market‑leading portfolio includes vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems and metal accessories.Our Market Development Representative – Hyper Steel plays a key role in expanding market presence and driving growth for our light gauge steel building solutions across multiple sales channels. The role involves collaborating with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, general contractors and developers to support business development efforts, customer training and overall market expansion.ResponsibilitiesDevelop relationships with builders, dealers, distributors, architects, developers, general contractors, and other key industry partners to grow market shareSupport multiple sales channels including direct retail, distribution, dealer networks, and turnkey building providersHelp customers understand the differences between channels and identify the right solutions based on their business model and project needsWork across a brand‑agnostic environment, supporting multiple product lines and routes to marketSupport customers through the sales process, product education, onboarding, and ongoing account developmentTrain customers on technology platforms, systems, and product solutionsHelp customers understand metal building systems, product applications, and installation processesIdentify and develop new business opportunities across various customer segments and marketsCollaborate with internal teams including customer service, operations, engineering, and sales leadership to support customer successAssist customers with navigating systems, processes, project coordination, and product selectionSupport business development initiatives focused on expanding adoption of light gauge steel building solutionsProvide a high level of customer service while helping resolve issues and appropriately manage customer expectationsBuild credibility with customers through strong communication, product knowledge, responsiveness, and relationship managementQualificationsExperience within metal building systems, metal roofing, wall panels, components, or related construction products strongly preferredStrong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to connect quickly with customersSales‑oriented personality with the confidence to engage customers and develop new business opportunitiesAbility to understand and navigate multiple sales channels and customer typesExperience reading construction drawings or working within the construction industry preferredAbility to learn technical products, systems, and software platformsStrong customer focus with the ability to problem‑solve and manage customer expectationsBachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered3+ years of customer‑facing experience preferredAdditional InformationThe US base salary range for this full‑time position is $80,000–$90,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401(k) and PTO. Individual pay is determined by location and relevant experience.
