Business Development Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Mike Nichols State Farm is looking for a driven Business Development Representative who enjoys talking with people, following a process, and creating new business. This is a remote position supporting our Kewanee, IL agency, with a base pay structure plus eligible commission or bonus and clear expectations around outbound activity and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and follow-ups to prospects and referral sources to build a pipeline of new business
• Set appointments and move prospects through the sales process
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the agency system
• Meet weekly and monthly outreach and production goals
• Participate in product training and licensing coursework

Qualifications

• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Self-motivated and comfortable with consistent outreach and follow-up
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a State Farm agency — required
• Active Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses — required. Applications without active licenses will not be considered.
• Able to work Illinois business hours (Central Standard Time)
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
• Team-oriented with a positive, coachable attitude

Pay range: $60,000-$70,000 per year
