Business Development Representative – Bilingual Insurance Sales


$20/Hour Base + Uncapped Commission | $50K–$70K+ Earning Opportunity
Phoenix, AZ | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:30 PM | No Evenings or Weekends


Llyrena Sherwood – State Farm Agency is growing, and we're hiring 3 bilingual (English/Spanish) sales professionals to join our Phoenix team.


This is a true sales role for someone who enjoys talking with people, working toward goals, following up consistently, and being rewarded for results.


Insurance experience is not required. We're looking for ambitious, coachable people with strong communication skills and the desire to build a professional sales career.

What You'll Do

•  Follow up with prospects, warm leads, and existing customers 
•  Provide auto, home, renters, and other insurance quotes 
•  Conduct sales conversations in English and Spanish 
•  Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage 
•  Cross-sell and identify life insurance opportunities 
•  Follow up consistently and ask for the sale 
•  Build long-term customer relationships 
•  Meet activity and production goals 
•  Participate in weekly sales coaching 

What We're Looking For

• Fluent conversational English and Spanish – required
•  Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
•  Goal-oriented, resilient, and comfortable hearing "no" 
•  Coachable and willing to follow a sales process 
•  Comfortable being accountable to measurable sales goals 
•  Sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required 
• Arizona Property & Casualty license must be obtained before your first day of employment
•  Willingness to obtain an Arizona Life, Accident & Health license within 90 days of employment 

Experience in wireless, banking, automotive, retail, hospitality, leasing, call centers, or other customer-facing roles can translate well to this position.
