Position Overview

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is partnering with an established aerospace manufacturing company in Van Nuys, CA, to identify an experienced Business Development Sales Representative with a strong background in the aerospace industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of business development and sales experience within aerospace, with a proven ability to develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand market presence. Experience with precision machining, grinding, and aerospace fittings is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing aerospace customers while identifying new business opportunities and markets.

• Drive business development initiatives to expand customer accounts and generate revenue growth.

• Build relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 aerospace customers and OEMs.

• Promote manufacturing capabilities, including grinding, precision machining, and aerospace fitting products.

• Identify customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop appropriate solutions.

• Support sales growth while maintaining compliance with applicable ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of business development and sales experience within the aerospace industry.

• Aerospace industry experience is required.

• ITAR compliance required with documentation

• Established relationships with Tier 1 or Tier 2 aerospace customers, such as Boeing, Airbus, Eaton, Parker, Safran, or Collins.

• Familiarity with precision grinding, machining, and aerospace fittings, including double-ferrule, swaged, and beam-seal fittings.

• Strong customer relationship management, negotiation, communication, and business development skills.

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required.
