The Outside Sales Representative will sell security & safety products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Outside Sales Representatives may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
Communicates with customers and prospects to identify and understand their product or service needs; recommends products and services that best meet those needs.
Demonstrates the features, functions, and benefits of products or services based on customer requirements.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise after the sale.
Maintains communication with current and former customers, informing them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field OR
Minimum of one years of related sales experience.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong sales, prospecting, and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and, at times, high-pressure environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software applications.
Other Duties
Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to travel as required.
