Position OverviewEnterprise Logistics & Test Solutions (ELTS) Business Development – Senior Staff member to shape the future of our Automatic Test Systems (ATS) portfolio and drive growth in a highly competitive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFormulate and execute the business strategy for the ATS product lines, including eCASS (electronic Consolidated Automated Support System), LM-CORE, LM-STAR®, and Portable Testers.Identify new growth opportunities, manage the opportunity pipeline, and foster deep customer engagement—both domestically and internationally.Work closely with Naval Air Systems Command (PMA 260), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) ATS Division, the Joint Program Office for the Joint Strike Fighter, and multiple LockheedMartin Business Units.Basic Qualifications3–5 years of experience in defense acquisitions (industry or customer side).5–10 years of experience with Automatic Test Systems (ATS).Proven track record in business development activities: opportunity qualification, proposal development, campaign execution, and strategic planning.Experience with competitive source selection processes (industry or government).Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams.Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication abilities.High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide.Strong customer relationship skills and ability to interpret international customer requirements.Solid understanding of DoD budgeting and acquisition processes.Team player who can organize and motivate a diverse group toward common objectives.Desired SkillsPrior employment with Naval Air Systems Command, AFLCMC, the Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, or LockheedMartin Business Units Test Teams.Additional experience in logistics, training, simulation, or support equipment.Direct experience with government source selections and foreign military sales (FMS) programs.Engineering expertise in Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Test Program Sets (TPS), and ATS.Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer (AMDO).Defense Acquisition University (DAU) career field certification(s).Strong financial planning and budgeting skills.Decisive decision‑making ability.Proven “deal closer”—consistent success in delivering projects on schedule and within scope.Security ClearanceThis position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret.Work Location & ScheduleWork is primarily on‑site at a Lockheed Martin facility with part‑time remote telework.
