Job Title: Business Development Specialist
Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher. Marketing major desired but not necessary.
- Two or more years of marketing to medical practices or similar experience. Experience in durable medical equipment preferred but not required.
- Understanding of the structure of medical practices, home health agencies, acute/sub-acute care facilities. Prefer background in most aspects of DME products.
Job Summary:
Discover a rewarding career at Arcare. Responsible for marketing all aspects of the DME company to all potential referral resources in a defined area. Responsible for taking orders, getting completed paperwork signed for delivery and ensuring compliance with all federal/state regulations. Maintains accurate and complete records of all interactions with referral resources. Tracks mileage and records a daily log sheet with information as to who was seen, what the interaction was, what are the action plans and what are the follow up tasks.
Reports those completed logs on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complies with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Verifies patient eligibility for equipment/service.
- Processes correct paperwork.
- Maintains knowledge of how to operate, set up and maintain all equipment provided by the DME.
- Completes all paper work assuring proper qualifications are met for private insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Performs set up of all modes of oxygen therapy.
- Sets up CPAP and BILEVEL units correctly.
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.
- Other duties as assigned.
