Festo Didactic is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to the training and development of industrial customers. We are looking for a skilled Business Development and Sales professional to join our team and drive growth through strategic initiatives and exceptional support.
Position Overview:
The Business Development and Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, while also providing comprehensive support to both our internal sales team and our external channel partners. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the consultative sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development:
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
Collaborate with senior management to create and implement strategic plans.
Sales Support:
Draft proposals for training and quotations for training equipment hardware sales
Assist in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for internal and client meetings.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as a liaison between clients and the team to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
Performance Analysis:
Develop actionable insights to optimize sales processes and strategies.
Provide regular updates to senior management on business development efforts.
Travel:
This role requires travel to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and engage in strategic discussions to further business development goals. Travel will primarily involve visits to clients, potential customers, and industry events. The estimated travel time is expected to be 25% of the time, depending on business needs. Travel may include domestic and, on rare occasions, international destinations. Flexibility and effective time management will be key in balancing travel with core responsibilities.
